We are delighted to have hosted the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program this fall. This program brought 23 teacher-scholars from 13 countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia to UW-Madison for six weeks. The focus of the program was on media literacy and it included presentations on current events in education and field experience in two local high schools. Outside the classroom, this group explored all that the Madison area — and beyond — has to offer!
The presence of the Fulbright participants enriches the UW-Madison campus learning community, and we are incredibly honored to host such talented and passionate scholars here. Thank you, Fulbright!
The Global Engagement Office hosts programming specifically for students in the School of Education. We also encourage you to engage in international programming campus-wide. You can find opportunities to do this through the many programs and events offered by the Global Engagement Team of International Student Services. Get involved!
