The Global Engagement Office hosts and co-hosts events throughout the year. These events include informational sessions and cultural celebrations. We welcome student suggestions and involvement. Some campus-wide international events are included below:

• Thursday, August 27, 2026, 12:00-2:00pm CST | International Student Welcome and Information Fair (ISWIF) | Join this welcome event and resource fair for all incoming international students hosted by International Student Services (ISS). | Pyle Center
• Monday, August 31, 2026, 11:00am – 1:00pm CST | SoE International Student Orientation and Welcome (Back) Lunch | All new and returning international students to the School of Education (SoE) are encouraged to join this event. It is an opportunity to meet students, staff, and faculty, and learn more about the support our offices provide for you. | Room 350, Teacher Education Building. | RSVP at this link
• Tuesday, September 1, 10:00-11:30am CST | 2026 School of Education Fall Welcome | The SoE welcomes new and transfer students! Learn about SoE departments, units, and programs and meet the many people here to support you in the School. | Memorial Union Great Hall (4th Floor)
